How To Automount Partition in Solaris 10


hy guys, i want to tell you about automount in solaris..

i know this is very simple,,

but i hope this post can help someone to set automount in solaris 10..

you can edit file vfstab in /etc/vsftab/

there are

| devide to mount   |   device to fsck   |  mount point   |    FS Type  |  Fsck Pass   |   mount at boot  | mount point |

now you can add this line..

/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s6    –    /mnt/zones    ufs    3    yes    –

thats script up there mean disk partition c1t0d0s6 will automounted in directory /mnt/zones with ufs filesystem, ,,

this is the  my vsftab example
