How to install backtrack 3 dual boot with Hackintosh

Oke guys.. maybe this article is out of date..

i think many people has wrote article like this..

But it’s ok to write this article ,,maybe this is usefull for newbie like me…

this is my first experience write article in english, so lets begin..

first i have 320Gb in computer’s lab

i already have install hackintosh in computer..

so follow this steps carefully:

make partition for linux ex3 also linux swap..

bt ~ # umount /dev/hda1
bt ~ # umount /dev/hda2
bt ~ # umount /dev/hda3 –this is linux ex3

make directory in directory mnt, in this step  directory was created bt3_chiko :
bt ~ # mkdir /mnt/bt3_chiko

Mount hda4 in directory bt3_chiko :
bt ~ # mount /dev/hda3 /mnt/bt3_chiko

Copy main files from Backtrack to directory bt3_chiko (this take a long time, so be patient ^_^) :
bt ~ # cp --preserve -R /{bin,boot,dev,home,pentest,root,usr,etc,lib,opt,sbin,var} /mnt/bt3_chiko/

make directory mnt,proc,sys,tmp in directory bt3_chiko :
bt ~ # mkdir /mnt/bt3_chiko/{mnt,proc,sys,tmp}

after that mount an already visible directory:
bt ~ # mount --bind /dev/ /mnt/bt3_chiko/dev/

and then mount :
bt ~ # mount -t proc proc /mnt/bt3_chiko/proc/

next copy file boot to directory boot in bt3_chiko :
bt ~ # cp /boot/vmlinuz /mnt/bt3_chiko/boot/

Chroot directory bt3_chiko :
bt ~ # chroot /mnt/bt3_chiko/ /bin/bash

after chroot, prompt will Apear like this :
bt / #

Edit lilo to make dual boot :
bt / # nano /etc/lilo.conf

boot = /dev/hda

boot = /dev/hda
timeout = 1200
vga = 773
image = /boot/vmlinuz
root = /dev/hda3
label = BackTrack_3

other = /dev/hda1
label = Hackintosh
table = /dev/hda

#to save configuration lilo.conf , press keyboard ctrl+o
and then press keyboard ctrl+x

switch on lilo and write te boot sector :
bt / # lilo -v
if succes should be like this:
Boot image: /boot/vmlinuz
Added BackTrack_3 *

Boot other: /dev/hda1, on /dev/hda, loader CHAIN
Added Hackintosh

and then quit from chroot :
bt / # exit

after exit prompt back as we start :
bt ~ #

Unmount this directory :
bt ~ # umount /mnt/bt3_chiko/dev/
bt ~ # umount /mnt/bt3_chiko/proc/

Reboot Notebook / PC and see what were you do….!
bt ~ # reboot

good luck…

thank to
